Past to Present can assist you through the process with personalized service. Individuals and families downsizing for a move or those with probate needs. An on-site consultation is free. Our fee is based on a percentage of the gross amount of sales, which can vary depending on the quantity and quality of the items in the estate sale. After the consultation a contract will be made up with all conditions regarding sale.
During the consultation we determine what the best way is to distribute or dispose of any unsold items. We will provide you with the cost for removing the rest of the items and leave the premises in a broom clean condition.
For every estate sale, we provide advertising: newspaper, Internet advertising, email and street postings in the area. We sort, research and price all saleable items, provide tables and display cases as needed and of course a professional & courteous staff. All personal items and documents are set aside. Our sales are conducted over 2 days.
We also set the stage in each room to create a harmonious effect in preparation for the sale of your house.
There are many alternative avenues to the public estate sale. We can purchase one item or an entire collection or make recommendations for placing your items in an appropriate auction. Talk with us about your needs.
